A Tradition of Celebrating Pets

From cave art to classical paintings to modern photography, we humans have been celebrating our four-legged companions for thousands of years. At You Lucky Dog photography, pets are my muse, as they were for countless gifted artists in the past. In this selection of some of my favorite art featuring pets, the animals' beauty and character come through despite the decades and sometimes centuries separating us from them.

I use a wealth of technical expertise and an eye for composition, light, and color to create durable art. The final images bring out your pet's essence: playful or noble, inquisitive or goofy, fierce or soulful, and sometimes all of the above.
